Necro to add a few cosplays that I think deserve recognition. :)

First off is an Ukitake cosplay that always amazes me at how close the actual person looks to Ukitake in terms of facial structure and all. While the character may not be overly detailed or complicated, I think this guy pulls him off perfectly.

Unfortunately I don't know the origin of this picture, but I think it's a really great depiction of Zaraki. It's a tough costume to pull off, and I haven't really seen many that do it well.

The last one is a cool looking Gin, though I don't know its origin and admittedly I can't really tell if the face is a mask or what. It's pretty realistic though and has that fantastic creepy smile.

The first link is Matt Miller [Mercer], who generally never cosplays outside the fuckwin zone. The second (and third, I believe?) is from the Bleach Musical, which doesn't quite apply for GGS since it's professional. I do love all three, though.

Can't see the third for whatever reason but the second is definitely from the Musicals.

Nope, third isn't Tuti so it's not musicals. I remember seeing it on Capslock Bleach but I forget if anyone sourced it. (And nitpicking, the tsuba for Shinso is dead wrong, but that's nitpicking.)

As for the first ... I'm sorry, but I think that faking the white kosode such that you get that line through the black automatically disqualifies any Bleach cosplay from GSS. Serious pet peeve. (Also, unlined captain's haori is another strike against him. I think he's got a damned good Ukitake, but those two things keep it from GSS for me.)

Ah, I see it now! I remember that Gin and it's 90% photoshop, at least I'm pretty sure it is. The hair looks real until it gets around the face and then looks completely different.

I didn't notice Ukitake's unlined haori but I've found out very few people do line them. A pity considering certain characters you see the lining quiet frequently in pictures.

It's not terrible, but the trim looks pretty sloppy to me. It looks like there are some loose threads and the trim on the neckline seems uneven to me.
